Day 1 - Travel to Israel
Traveled from Astoria to PDX, then non-stop to Germany via Luthunsa Airlines. Another 4 hour flight and we finally make it to Tel Aviv.
Day 10 - Jerusalem
Temple Mount, Western Wall, Jeruselem Archaeological Park
Day 11 - Jerusalem
Day 12 - Jerusalem
Day 2 - Joppa and Netanya
Arrrived in Israel after traveling for 18 hours. Jumped in the tour bus and went to Joppa to learn of the ancient gateway port. After the sunset we went to the hotel in Netanya for some much needed sleep.
Day 3 - Caesarea
Ancient port city of Caesarea on the Mediterranean. Ruins include portions of the walls from the Roman era, and the Crusades.
Day 4 - Mount Carmel, Megiddo, Nazereth
Day 5 - Cliffs of Arbel
Walked up the mountain before daybreak to see an amazing sunrise over the Sea of Galilee.
Day 5 - Sea of Galilee
Mount of Beatitudues, Sea of Galilee, Capurnum
Day 6 - Mount Hermon
Traveled to the top of Mt Hermon, which is also known as the Mount of Transfiguration.
Day 6 - Golan Heights
Day 7 - Bet Shean
Day 7 - Masada, Gideons Cave, Dead Sea
Day 7 - Sunrise
Day 8 - Dead Sea
Caves of Engedi and Qumran
Day 9 - Jerusalem
Mount of Olives, Museum of the Dead Sea Scrolls, Valley of Elliot
